About NDA

Position Summary
Notre Dame Academy is seeking a dynamic and competitive coach to lead the outdoor track
and field program. NDA coaches are actively engaged in the community, and embrace both the
mission and values of St Julie Billiart, the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur and the Academy.
The role of the Varsity Track and Field Coach is to be responsible for coaching, character
development and providing direction to student athletes so that they might achieve a high level
of skill as well as an appreciation for discipline, sportsmanship and teamwork in track. This job
requires you to interact thoughtfully and respectfully with student athletes, fellow coaches, staff,
parents and community as well as follow the mission of the school. Positive communication
strategies, organizational skills, and safety awareness are key requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-Following and upholding the policies and mission statement of Notre Dame Academy and
communicating the vision of the Notre Dame Academy program to athletes and parents
-Oversee the development of the track program
-Instructing and demonstrating skill sets and techniques necessary for individual and team
development.
-Coordinating parent meetings, tryouts, daily practice planning, game management, off
season programming and community engagement
-Work closely with the Athletic Director to ensure all school policies/procedures are being
followed as it relates to athletic programs (eligibility, parent meetings, registrations, tryouts,
scheduling, equipment inventory/collection, off season training programs etc.)
-Work directly with athletic trainers and Athletic Director in reporting injuries, teaching
precautions and procedures to ensure staff/student safety and help students prevent
injuries.
-Create a safe environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social,
and emotional development of students.
-Ability to represent NDA appropriately to the NDA school community, local track community,
press and broader community
-Understand the necessary commitment, expectations and pressures associated with being
the head coach in a well-supported program.
-The 2024-2025 School year for the Spring Track and Field Season. Start date: 03/17/2025.

Job Requirements
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications
-High school level (or higher) coaching experience preferred.
-NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching Certification (obtained within first 2 years of coaching)
-First Aid / CPR / AED certification
-Completion of the NFHS Concussion in Sports Course
-Must be available afternoons and evenings during the season.
-Understanding of MIAA regulations and expectations
-Citizenship, residency or work visa required

Position Summary: Notre Dame Academy is seeking a Science teacher for the 2024--2025 school year. Preferred candidates will have at least 3-5 years of teaching experience. He or she is a happy, enthusiastic individual who has demonstrated a passion for Science and for teaching that builds interest in, enthusiasm for, and mastery of that subject. Finally, the candidate will have the capacity to contribute to the life of the School in co-curricular areas, such as coaching and advising students.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Teach Science for middle/high school
- Prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts.
- Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records.
- Evaluate and grade students' class work, assignments, and papers.
- Plan, evaluate, and revise curricula, course content, and course materials and methods of instruction.
- Maintain regularly scheduled office hours in order to advise and assist students

Alumnae, Annual Fund, and Events Coordinator
JOB TITLE: Alumnae, Annual Fund & Events Coordinator (FT)
FLSA Classification: Exempt
Responsible to: Chief Advancement Officer
NDA’s Alumnae, Annual Fund, and Events Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Advancement Office by facilitating alumnae relations, coordinating the campaigns for the Annual Fund of NDA, and supporting on and off campus events. This role involves engaging with alumnae, fostering relationships, and ensuring successful fundraising efforts to achieve fundraising goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain relationships with NDA alumnae to strengthen engagement & alumnae community.
- Work closely with the Alumnae Association to coordinate alumnae communications, including newsletters, social media updates, and emails.
- Assist in planning and executing of alumnae & NDA/campus events, such as reunions & social/networking gatherings.
- Help maintain accurate and up-to-date alumni records in Raiser’s Edge (Alumnae Database).
- Act as a primary point of contact for alumni inquiries and requests.
- Assist in planning and implementing the annual fund campaign, including direct mail, email solicitations, and other fundraising initiatives.
- Monitor and track the progress of the Annual Fund of NDA, including reporting on key metrics and goals.
- Coordinate with the advancement team and internal/external stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of fundraising campaigns.
- Manage donor acknowledgment and stewardship efforts, ensuring timely and accurate communication with donors.
- Coordinate and execute a variety of NDA events on and off campus.
- Work with vendors, caterers, and other event partners to ensure the successful execution of events.
- Manage event logistics, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with internal departments.
- Maintain accurate records of alumnae, donors, and event participants in the Raiser’s Edge database.
- Ensure data integrity and confidentiality in accordance with NDA policies.
- Generate reports and analyze data to inform strategy and decision-making.
- Assist with grant research and grant writing
- Provide general administrative support to the Advancement Office, including meetings, managing calendars, and preparing materials.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by the Chief Advancement Officer.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- 2 years of experience in alumni relations, fundraising, event planning, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Google platform, MS Office and familiarity with database management
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
This position may require occasional evening and weekend work for events and activities which may also involve some travel to attend events or meetings

Position Summary: Perform administrative and operational tasks to maintain an effective and well-organized Main Office and support the Notre Dame Academy Team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- - Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency in the day-to-day operations of the school while creating a welcoming environment
- - Assume responsibility for front desk duties (phone calls, general emails, greet and welcome visitors, make announcements when necessary, as well as answer any other questions that may arise)
- - Assist students with arrival and dismissal (checking Daily Absence Form, email, and attendance phone line for all tardies, absences, and dismissals and communicate notifications to Registrar and others as needed).
- - Assist faculty/staff and students with day-to-day questions and concerns.
- - Maintain physical and digital files
- - Assist Principal/Head of School, Director of Finance, and Chairperson of the Board of Trustees with any projects or work.
- - Manage senior staff calendars, NDA Calendar, Parent and Student Calendar, and Attendance Calendar.

- Distribute Massachusetts anti-hazing law to students via FamilyID and submit the report to the state.
- - Assist Director of Finance with distribution and filing of completed student enrollment agreements.
- - Distribute faculty and student IDs.
- - Assist Principal with the creation and distribution of employee agreements.
- - Oversee the collection and filing of signed employee agreements.
- - Update faculty/staff mailboxes.
