2025 Rebel With A Cause Celebration

 

On April 10th, 2025, Notre Dame Academy will host our most important celebration and fundraising event of the year  Rebel with a Cause  to celebrate our NDA community. Honoring the recipients of the Knollwood Award and the inductees to the Society of Arts, this event showcases the values instilled in the NDA educational experience and honors those who have played a significant role in our journey. The honorees are members of the NDA community who exemplify Notre Dame’s tradition of service to others and our values of character, community, and commitment.

THE KNOLLWOOD AWARDS

The Knollwood Awards were established by the Board of Trustees of Notre Dame Academy to honor women whose commitment to their vocations and dedication to the service of others exemplifies the Notre Dame Academy tradition. The Knollwood Award is presented to an NDA alumna or community leader whose demonstrated interest in education, and service to the Greater Worcester Community, and achievements in her chosen life’s work identifies her as having the special spirit that Notre Dame Academy cultivates and fosters among its students.

THE SOCIETY OF THE ARTS

Established in 2014, the NDA  Society of the Arts honors alumnae, retired faculty, and staff
who demonstrate excellence and dedicated spirit to the pursuit of art.
Inductees use their talents to inspire others, bringing art to the attention of the community. 

 

The Rebel with a Cause event raises critical funds need to support the financial aid for families seeking a Notre Dame Academy education for their daughters. Financial aid and scholarships enrich our community   by providing equitable access to a premier education for young women who otherwise would not have the opportunity to benefit from a transformative experience that inspires confident, forward-thinking, compassionate leaders. An NDA education and our ability to offer financial aid is made possible by support from our community. Please consider sponsoring and attending the Rebel with a Cause celebration this year. Your support ensures that current and future students can become "Rebels with a Cause" and make profound impacts on the world. 

This event celebrates our values, which ensure that each student can take the education that, as St. Julie instilled, "Teach them what they need to know for life” and make our world a better place.
